ALUMINUM COVERS INSTALLED IN CINCINNATI
Pictured are two aluminum covers, installed at a Greater Cincinnati area Wastewater Treatment Facility, sold by Chesley Associates, Inc. and manufactured and installed by Hallsten Corporation. The covers are substantially air tight, chemical resistant and designed to withstand loads of up to 400 lbs./sq.ft. over the entire surface without deflection. Hallsten aluminum covers can be configured in any shape or size to replace concrete, fiberglass and other bent sheet metal covers and are specifically intended for environmental applications. The aluminum panels shown are intended to help control odor at the site.

SUBMERSIBLE AERATORS
The pictured aerators were provided for a community in southwest Ohio to:
- Upgrade performance and capabilities in an equalization basin (Photo 1.)
- Upgrade the capabilities of a sludge holding tank (Photo 2.)
The community constructed both concrete structures employing a 25 HP Hurricane submersible aspiration aerator in the equalization basin to keep waste-water fresh during high flow wet weather events (Photo 1) and a 20 HP Hurricane submersible aspirating aerator to provide mixing in the sludge holding tank (Photo 2). STAINLESS STEEL TANKS INSTALLED IN PIKEVILLE, KY
Pictured to the right is the second of two 314 Stainless Steel Tanks supplied to a water utility customer in the mountains for Eastern Kentucky. The tanks were sold by Chesley Associates, Inc. and fabricated and erected by Liquid Tech Tank Systems, Inc. Liquid Tech manufactures a wide variety of tanks, covers and decking for both municipal and industrial clients.

OXIDATION DITCH EQUIPMENT
Pictured is a recent installation of an Envirodyne Systems, Inc. Global ™ brush
rotor aeration system. The plant provides outstanding oxygen
transfer and mixing to achieve high quality effluent without
the high capital and operating costs of more complex technologies.

The below picture illustrates a unique application in which Tornado floating
aerators were installed in existing wastewater treatment plant
aeration basins in order to provide emergency treatment after
a major equipment failure. These aerators were supplied on very

Envirodyne Systems
Chesley Associates, Inc. representing Envirodyne Systems recently supplied two (2) half-bridge 78' diameter secondary clarifiers with full-radius scum troughs and dual skimmers for the Southwest Licking W.W.T.P. located near Pataskala, Ohio. The new clarifiers exemplify the 21st Century design features offered through Envirodyne Systems (www.envirodynesystems.com).

Wastewater Treatment Plant
A picture of a Wastewater Treatment Plant recently installed at a Golf and Country Club which includes Tertiary Treatment and provides water for irrigation of the golf course. This installation was turn keyed by Chesley Associates, Inc. for the owner in cooperation with the Consulting Engineer.
